Keeping the water that residents drink, cook with and bathe in safe should be a priority for any building owner or board. The NYC council makes it so with the enactment of the “Drinking Water Rank Inspection” law which creates cash penalties for buildings in violation of the mandatory drinking water (roof) tank annual inspection.
